Fresh pork is available, as are the lamb and veal again this order only.

Also,  we have two gallons of organic apple cider vinegar from an Amish farm aged in wooden barrels to full (edible) strength for $20 apiece. First come, first serve! I’ll try to be sure there are samples available.

Cider vinegar is one of the cure-all’s. One tablespoon a day is recommended by Aajonus to help prevent blood clots, and there is a whole book devoted to the many ways it can help you. Reader’s Digest online says it does these things:

Its wide-ranging benefits (rivaling the number of uses for tea tree oil and other nifty natural helpers) include everything from curing hiccups to alleviating cold symptoms, and some people have turned to apple cider vinegar to help with health concerns including diabetes, cancer, heart problems, high cholesterol, and weight issues. It is very beneficial in the hot bath, rinsing your hair, both skin and hair liking acidic conditions. It also is used in the sport formula. And, it has helps digest your meat, can be used to chemically cook your chicken and fish.

My other topic today is Enzymes—the big reason to eat raw.

Enzymes: small proteins that make chemical reaction possible at low temperatures our bodies can have. As opposed to a fire (!) Super important–everything your body does depends on them. All your energy for every function depend on enzymes.

Heat destroys them, even our body temperature is too much for many of them, and they have to be replaced constantly. High fevers, or getting too hot outside can kill you because your enzymes cannot function anymore. Drink a lot of fluid, with lots of electrolytes, from lemon and lime, tomatoes and celery for sodium, and cool yourself down if you get overheated–take a cool shower, or get your hair and shirt wet. It is like a portable evaporative cooler!!

Enzymes are the reason that eating raw food is so important. Raw food still has enzymes intact that can be used by the body, to help with digestion and other body functions, including cleaning out toxins, cooked fats from the arteries and lymph system.

Foods extra full of enzymes are pineapple and papaya, fruits on the green side, and fermented foods! Help yourself!

Healthfully Yours,
