I was reminded of why Aajonus started doing all this. He had a vision, yes, but the thing that is missing in the Standard American Diet is enzymes. Real water (contained in plants and food). Both are lost in cooking. And a number of heat-sensitive vitamins (oh, those are enzymes!). And the proteins get broken and twisted (change of color and texture).
Your whole existence depends on enzymes. Why do you think you die if you get too hot? Your enzymes are toast. No energy can be made, no cellular functions, no motion, no breathing, no thinking. Nada. Even our body temperature kills off enzymes on a steady basis. We make them and use them until they warp. We keep making more. I was blown away when I found that some enzymes are used like 10,000 times a minute!!!!!! Cells are living FAST.
Most folks know about digestive enzymes. Yes. They break down the food. Some of that is absorbed. The rest? The enzymes Get it ready for the gut flora. Especially the resistant starches, like green banana, insulin in artichokes, the starches in cassava root. When our bacteria get those, they create molecules that really jazz up your brain. Fast tracked up there.
And the gut-brain connection? Actual communication via nerves and chemicals. So much to this! Check it out online.
One of the most ridiculous things to me is the false data being passed out that cooked meat is easier to digest. It may be easier to chew. And one gets more calories out of it, but that is because you’ve damaged enough proteins that it is easier to cut off the nitrogen and make it a carbohydrate! Food is rated by how much energy you get from it, in this culture. Not how well it heals your body, or how young it keeps you. In Europe, at least, they care about the actual taste, going to the market daily to get fresh ripe food. They know culturally that if it tastes good (from the actual taste, not added sugar and salt and fat), that it will keep you healthy. And, yes, there are heavy meals there too. But at least they like raw fats, like cheese and butter and prosciutto.
Raw meat warms me and gives me energy. Cooked meat makes me tired. Just saying.
So here are a couple of recipes to make your mouth water and taste amazing, while giving you a lot of enzymes!
In a quart jar, put:
1 raw egg
1 Juice lemon
1 juice lime
1/2 tsp Terramin clay
1 1/2 T coconut cream
1 1/2. T cow cream
1 T raw apple cider vinegar
Fill the rest of the jar with raw liquid whey and watermelon, or cucumber or tomatoes (or both)
or raw milk Leaving an inch at the top!
blend and sip
Here is Louis’s chicken recipe:
1 lb free range chicken
1 avocado, diced
raw cream
apple cider vinegar
olive oil
shopped cilantro
honey with
diced tomatoes as a garnish.
the chicken was marinated in lemon juice prior to everything else with the jice drained off before the combining of the other ingredients (recipe was a bit from Aajonus and a bit of Louis culinary flair)
Love you all!
